North Portico Bookends

These bookends depict in exquisite detail the North Portico doorway leading to the Entrance Hall of the White House. They incorporate sandstone from the same quarry in Aquia, Virginia, that produced the stones used to build the exterior of the White House more than two hundred years ago.
